Dina Meyer was born and raised in Forest Hills, Queens, New York, but moved to Dix Hills, Long Island, just before her last year in junior high school. Her sister is younger of Gregory as well as an older brother called Evan. At the age of 9 up to 16, she started working in the entertainment business via acting. Ron Stetson taught her the Sanford Meisner acting technique at The Neighborhood Playhouse. Sandra Bullock was among those who were trained in this way along with Michael Douglas, Jeff Goldblum Leslie Nielsen and Diane Keaton. Her role was in Beverly Hills in 90210, but had relocate in Los Angeles to take the part. After being offered the lead part in Johnny Mnemonic where she did majority of the stunts her own, she proved herself as an actress that is physically fit. Her agent for talent was also representing Matt LeBlanc so, through her agent she was able get a regular role on Friends.
